    The Old Ordinary Museum

Where treasures and tales of Hingham's past come to life

The Tap Room in the Old Ordinary, a one-time way station, where weary travelers or residents of Hingham could get a meal, a drink and conversation with such as Daniel Webster and Benjamin Lincoln, a Revolutionary War general who fought with George Washington. Today, the 1680s structure is a house museum owned and operated by the Hingham Historical Society.
