Solomon Lincoln would almost certainly have mentioned it if he had. Lincoln's only other trip through Massachusetts (other than the speaking tour in 1848) was when he enrolled his son at Exeter prior to Harvard - in 1860, I believe. There is no evidence he every visited his son while he was at Harvard, although Mrs. Lincoln did.
